Tips from your Chiropractor for this Holiday Season

Lets give thanks for making it through 2021! And lets hope that 2022 will be filled with positivity. If there is one thing that this pandemic has taught us, it’s that Health is real Wealth.  The holidays are a good time to reflect on what would be good to help take care of your health, and maybe your friends and family’s health as well. Being your Chiropractor, I wanted to offer some tips for how to stay healthy: 

So, how can you navigate good health this holiday season the best?

  1. When trying new sports activities or ones you don’t do very often: Take extra time to warm up and stretch your body to prepare. Listen to your body if you have had enough, and stop before you do too much.
  1. It’s okay to binge (eat more food), on the holidays to make it special, the memories can more than make up for getting back on the diet later.
  1. When life is getting too busy, take some time to Meditate. This is some time where you let go of all thoughts. you may still have many, but gently let them go. Practice this for 10, 20, or 30 minutes, long enough to notice stillness in your body. When you reenter the conscious world you can have better control over your mental and emotional state, sometimes with amazing positive results!
  2. Above all, remember to give as much Love and Joy as you can, this holiday season. What you give, tends to come back to you:)!
